Usually we think it's gonna happen just because we do it but NO, there's also a possibility that nothing will happen and you continue to be stuck in a rut.

If you feel like you're bound because so-and-so was nice to you blahblahblah, I can only say that is your dai ji. Nothing to do with me. Don't bother putting me on a guilt trip because I have already concluded I don't owe anyone any favors.
Everything I got, I can say I got them from effort and because God was kind to me.
