Decided to watch Simon & Martina's "Kpop Music Mondays" series and I think it's super funny!
If you didn't know, it's a youtube channel where they review Kpop videos based on user requests so basically what gets reviewed are the really popular songs.
Songs that you Should listen to if you don't know what to listen to. YUP.

Anyway, they are huge fans of YG artistes - 2ne1, Bigbang. Special love to T.O.P :)
Their review of "Monster" - T.O.P posing while running out of a collapsing building. That parody was so... rofl!

And the whole lips not moving while rapping/singing.. Haven't really noticed it before. I must be one of those fangirls who just LOVE everything "omg he's so hot! he's so cool! i love this song!" without noticing the details. Okie.

I really really enjoy Bigbang and their music for one simple reason. Bigbang does not do ballads! 
At least, the songs I listen to are NOT ballads. Love Song, Lies, Haru Haru, Cafe, Blue.. while they may be mid-tempo, they do not count as ballads. There is still a solid beat, a bass line that moves and gets you moving! Yeah! BLUE is seriously my favorite Bigbang song ever in the history of ever! It's the first song I listened to which made me like them! Before that, I did not listen to any male groups. I'm strongly feminist in my music tastes and pretty much everything else.
I don't even remember WHY I listened to Blue. It was probably one fine day, bored on youtube and decided let's listen to Bigbang. *randomly click*
OMFG aksdjhaksjhdkasjhkjh this is pure genius! This is the best song ever! I must have this on replay. I must watch EVERY SINGLE FREAKING video of their performance of this song. I must post on fb gushing over how this is the BEST SONG EVER! How could I not know this song when I went to Korea and they were playing it over and over????? I must obsess over how they have their Alive tour in Korea. AND OMG they are coming to singapore! NEED TO GO! Watch this video every single day and know the words! OMFG askdhajkkjhas. 
Yup.

So there you go, my love affair with Bigbang. I actually got kinda depressed after their tour was over. Then I realised, hello I am too old for this sort of fangirlism. Tsktsk.

*aside* I HATE BALLADS. I just can't stand them. They are so boring. *bored to tears* Which is why I never click on ballads. When I see that something looks vaguely ballady, I will never listen to it EVER.

Some other random music that I've discovered I like (from male groups/boybands)
B.A.P's Warrior - Hello Bang Yong Guk with the manly voice. One other rapper apart from T.O.P who actually has a manly fierce rapping voice. How can someone so young have such an awesome voice! And then you have old dudes with kiddy airy voices.
Always did like guys with lower voices. It makes them sound more mature and dignified. Some guys have such irritating high pitched voices. Without looking at them, I already hate them.

Mblaq's This Is War - I know this is how old already! I even heard it at the Kpop Youtube concert (and liked it!) Just late to the party in terms of "collecting" this into.. my iTunes collectionnnn... :X

SHINee's Lucifer, Juliette and Sherlock - After SMTown, AHEM. SHINee can dance. I assure you I'm not like fangirling over SHINee now. Nope. PURE objectivity. I like these songs. They get me bopping along. "I'm so CU-RI-OUS yeahhh!~" Nothing whatsoever to do with Jonghyun's very nice abs.

Super Junior's No Other and Sexy Free & Single. Heehee, after the Kpop Music Monday review of SFS, I will always hear it as "sexy free and single, ready to bingo". Shouldn't it be something like "ready to mingle" instead of *officially* "ready too, bingo"? Weeelll, it cannot be unheard now. I liked No Other some long long time ago. But did not like the clothes. Not stylish at all. I'm glad SUJU are a lot more dapper now.. Wait, possibly not. Some of the guys are hardly clothed in SFS. Tsktsk SM!!
