Revlon Enthrall polish swatch
I bought this during the Watsons sale for $9. Usual price was $12.90 and there was 30% off.
ANYWAY, I'm shocked at how expensive nail polish is in sg! I was still under the impression that the OPI, China Glaze, Essie etc that you could buy from *scape fleas were expensive. Revlon's pricing is almost the same and it's Revlon.
Guess I need to frequent *scape more.
I like the color. It looks brown but there's gold glitter in it. I think the instagram filter did a pretty good job capturing how it looks like.
I tried it out yesterday. Still unprofessional. Despite painting my nails a couple of times, it seems like my skills have not improved at all. I felt the formula was too thick! I also noticed that it bubbled. Good thing is the brush enables you to coat the entire nail (except the thumb) in 1 stroke. And this polish smells like... Coke.
When the polish is too thick, it's prone to looking lumpy and you have certain spots that don't dry as quickly :(
I added OPI's Mad As A Hatter to the tips. I really like this polish because it's SO FILLED with glitter! But it's been some time since I had it and yesterday I realised there's no mixing ball in it. Consistency now is kinda goopy :(
Anyway, I did add a top coat to it and *I d'no* maybe this top coat ruins polishes? I used the China Glaze First & Last. When I was drying my hands, the towel left an indent on the polish *AHHH*
And when I was doing some chores, the polish chipped! Water made the polish feel sticky.
Was really disappointed. Perhaps this base/top coat has been with me for too long and is no longer doing its job. But it did ruin my polish and I had to remove it. Has not even been an hour T_T
Do I like Enthrall?
For the formula, I probably would have wanted to RETURN this but I can't. So I guess I will use it as a pedicure polish instead.
