giving in to temptation

I absolutely had to have this!
I know it doesn't look like much and I have had countless pairs of such standard black wedges BUT after trying it on the other day, I just couldn't get it out of my mind. (haha!) Yes, obsessed over a pair of shoes...
Anyway, went back today to try it on because "if not, it might get sold out and I might want to buy it!"
Ended up not buying it though there were two pairs left in the store. Quite raggedy and kicked-about. *sad*
Honestly, I know Rubi shoes can hurt but I believe it's only because they take *some* time to break in.
Previously I bought this pair of *surprise! not* black heels. They did hurt the first 2-3 times but after that, it was my go-to pair of shoes. I wore them everywhere and they didn't give me any trouble. Wore them till they died and couldn't be saved.
Because I liked them so, I bought another pair! The same but in blue. Apart from black, I adore blue. So. This pair is seriously... stubborn.
I have worn it a couple of times. Each time, they hurt! It's like you don't feel it when you first put them on but the pain develops over the course of the day.
I wore it to BT once. Was feeling very chio and all till I fell down. *clumsy*
Another time, I wore it and it pinched so badly AND BECAUSE no one offered me a seat! (as if I'm pregnant or old) the pain caused me to faint.

Nah. Kidding.

I did feel like I was going to faint. 脑缺氧 you know?
And called my dad to bring me shoes because I am so not taking another step. *haha*

Anyway. This pair, I have a good feeling about them. Though they're high, when you wear them, you don't feel like you're wearing something more than 3 inches. It's a wedge plus the front platform makes it comfortable. It's something like a flatform. I initially thought it was a flatform (tried a pair today, it was weird) but there's still a gentle slope so nah, wedge it is.
Tottered around the shop in them. The string tying the shoes together made it hard to walk normally but I tried my best *geisha walk* But because Yt kept saying the shoes weren't in the best condition, I let them go with a heavy heart.

But I bought them online! Free shipping so it's the same price as in-store. Hopefully they are less beat-up.

I am weird right? Getting so excited and sleepless over a standard pair of shoes that don't even look exciting. It's the same logic as me getting excited and impressed over shiny/duochrome clutches "omg it changes color!" and well, generally drawn to shiny or immensely-studded objects. I d'no why but I will just pick it up and be all WAH O_O over it. It's not like I will buy it because it's shiny, I won't. I just like that it's shiny and can change color! Like when the light reflects off it, it's green then yellow then orange? Impressive right! *h&m*
