SNAIL CREAM?

Recently I read about this new skincare product that is supposedly the IN thing in Korea (ah yes, this is the article).
We have escargots and now, snail cream!

I'm pretty lazy to Google and read up on what exactly snail cream contains but just think about it as snail slime. Then again, what is snail slime? The gooey trail that snails leave behind when they move? If that's the case, I'm hoping no snails were harmed in the process of producing these creams. Though icky (I am scared of snails!!!) it's still sad to have them ground up just for a beauty cause right?

This sudden entry is spurred by Gmarket having a timed sale tomorrow AND I see the SECRET KEY gel cream at only $12.90 + free shipping. Am very tempted hahaha. Honestly I have no qualms using something with snail extracts on my face. *shrugs* I am just hoping it doesn't smell snail-y? Never smelled a snail before... but well! It's a beauty product so they must have added some fragrance to mask the smell if there is one. What's the worst it could smell like? Fake flowers + saliva?
