when life gives you lemons

I would like to believe that all things happen for a reason. Although some people rap this very notion and spurn fate, I'm not about to change my way of thinking any time soon.

When it's difficult for me to make a decision, the decision was made for me albeit indirectly.
I am not going to regret my decision or look elsewhere. Since I've accepted, this is where I'm going to be. Make the most of what you're given.

Anyway, I think I finally found something that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin - Cetaphil! Most body washes make my skin itch. It's really sad. I'm guessing I'm allergic to water too? Or the chlorine in it. There must be something I'm allergic to.
The thing about Cetaphil is it has no fragrance! It contains no soap thus it doesn't lather. You sort of feel like you're not using enough. Since it's gentle, I guess it won't hurt to use more? It is sort of pricey. It was around $24? But the bottle was huge! So it should last me a while.
I tried the body shop's tea tree shower gel and while I like the tea tree scent, it still made me itch. So much for antiseptic properties.

Oh well. No fragrances, no pretty packaging. Just the basics and hopefully it works.

Bought the mario badescu vitamin C serum! So tempting after reading good reviews on it and of course, favorite beauty guru Jen's (frmheadtotoe) review. Maybe I remembered wrongly but I didn't think it was usd45 before? Sigh. Inflation. Or I'm just in denial.
Anyway, compared to stuff like Lancome and SKII (which I'm allergic to) it is still cheaper.
