Was surprised to know the famous valedictorian was actually Trinetta! My brother was like, "oh SN girls swear a lot. Just like you!"
We don't say fuck at every turn although I think Lyn sort of does. I feel partially influenced by her anyway. I think it's a very versatile word. It can be a noun, verb, adjective ...
Personally, I don't see the point to all the controversy. I guess the people who kicked up a fuss were probably the same ones who felt disgusted and shocked at Bridesmaids.
It's not like kids (primary kids included) these days are so pure. They pick up all sorts of expletives from wherever, whenever. Not to say that this sort of thing should be condoned; thing being swearing. But it's quite duh to be frothing at the mouth and choking on shock.
Anyway.
I totally feel like an item on a to-do list.
Placate Jules. -tick-
Be nice to Jules -tick-
You know that sort of thing? Urghh it's SO unfair. I'm not a child. Don't be nice to me because you have to.
Oh I found a kindred spirit today! I think to me, kindred spirits are basically anyone who fear rollercoasters like Battlestar...
But yes, I like Shermaine! Trying to say this in a non-lesbiany way.
I freaking hate their HR policy.
We worked hard for those hours and suddenly, we can't use them unless they say we can.
Why would anyone in a power of position ever say something humane? 99% of the time, the thought process leans towards Exploit. I was already annoyed that we have to practically beg for leaves and now we have to be satisfied with our measly days of leave and just shut up about taking toil.
Seriously!
Do people go on 3 day vacations? After working your ass off, I think you need more than a 1 day break. For fuck's sake, what good does that do? You can't go anywhere and you feel that you're wasting your fucking hard-earned hours.
I wouldn't be surprised at the impending mass exodus. People are being pushed to leave by having unpopular policies shoved down our throats.
If I'm so unhappy why don't I just leave? Shut the fuck up and don't teach me what to do.
