I usually love rainy Saturdays however it's not very helpful when I need to travel/be in the open.
SIGH.
I can only say thank goodness it was drizzling and not fullblown stormy weather.
Went for a mani-pedi with Jars at this place called Nails D'vine. It's in Dempsey and so very pretty! The inside is tastefully done with comfy chairs, throw pillows, really pretty glass basins... and greco-roman influenced furnishing.
Experience was pretty good. You don't feel rushed at all. We opted for the Classic mani and Express pedi. They have colors from a variety of brands i.e. OPI, Orly, Essie, Nubar, Zoya and Jessica. Maybe they have others but I only remembered these few.
My nail color is from the new OPI "Touring America" collection.
Just Googled it - it's called I Eat Mainely Lobster (haha, how...strange)
It's this warm pink with a hint of coral. The manicurist kept saying dull colors were in this season but I just didn't gravitate towards the muddy colors like ... what are they even called?!Previously I did some dark brown shade unknowingly. Unknowingly because it looked like a dark red. HAHA.
Pedi color was from this brand called Jessica. Which is totally unknown to me and I'm thinking their formula might not be as good but oh well, it's a metallic purple/blue which I am so loving right now!
I can't find any swatches online and am too lazy to get a picture right now!
Late lunch at RedDot Brewhouse. Well, not exactly lunch. The guy helpfully informed us when we were ready to order that 'hey lunch was over at 2.30'. THANKS A LOT. Could have said so earlier.
So got some finger food and beer instead.
Random interjection: Can I just say TonyMoly's Galaxy polishes are freaking chio? I must remember to check out the shop when I'm in Korea! Like uh, something like 3 weeks later?

And am freaking hungry right now!
Suddenly fried beehoon sounds like a damn good idea. Sushi. Or a peanut butter sandwich. That's it, am off to grab a sandwich.
