Spent the day wisely in town with cheryl, amanda and annabel :]
Had lunch at this korean restaurant in FEP; I thought it was better than Ju Shin Jung! At least I could taste the samgyetang. It might be because I was too sick to taste anything at JSJ but I still think that place is overpriced if you're looking for a la carte meals. This one was reasonably priced. $65+ for a set meal for 2-3 people but able to feed 4 :)
There was bibimbap, samgyetang, bbq chicken, side dishes, seafood pancake and fruit. Would go back again. Also found a korean place at Heartland Mall. Needs to try it!
Bought a $60 pair of shoes.
It's Ferragamo-inspired. Feels comfortable enough with a contoured inner sole.
Funny how I am unwilling to pay 40,50.. for shoes at New Look/F21/etc. but had no qualms about this.
The seller was too good looking.
I'm kidding.
Okay no, I'm serious.
First time doing manicure. I chose this color which, on first glance, is a dark brown but when sunlight hits it, you can see that there's purple glitter.
When they applied it in the shop, it just looked brown so I was quite o_O about it since on the color card, it looked different. Am happy with it now.
I googled and conclude that the color is OPI's My Private Jet although different sites have different pictures of what it's supposed to look like. Some say it's gunmetal and some say it's brown. Doesn't look in the least bit gunmetal to me! Apparently it's a discontinued color and there was some controversy over the formula and color between the batches. The original MPJ had more holographic flecks of glitter in it.
That's not my hand by the way.
Will take a picture soon!
Anyway, I think this is Amanda's pedicure color - Not Like the Movies from the Katy Perry collection!
Time to snooze :)
