On a sidenote,
My A2 asked me : Would you marry a guy who does not earn a lot but is doing something he likes and is good at? Someone who can't afford to buy you the finer things in life e.g. branded bag just because, who isn't able to let you quit work and be a taitai.

I had to think before I answered. Till now, I haven't answered and I think nobody cared since the seniors interrupted and gave their ten cents' worth.

Question was posed to me because I am materialistic and superficial. Oh, true on both counts.
Answer is contigent on whether the guy is really good at the whatever it is he is doing. (My senior likened that to investing in a penny stock, whatever those are... I guess high risk but might be blue chip one day?)

It's a bonus to have someone buy me things but I strongly believe I can buy those things myself. It's not good to develop a dependency. If you don't have a job, that's dependency. (If you can't be away from your other half, that's a dependency that's more like a severe deficiency) So... I can survive on my own thank you very much. The guy doesn't have to earn a lot but it has to be reasonable otherwise you cannot survive in Singapore.

That's like an answer but not really an answer kind of answer.
Since it's not really applicable, I'm not bothering to answer it.

I like having my own time and my own space. I resent doing things I dislike and can be straight-out petulant about it. Which is what is going to happen. True, I'm extremely volatile.

The bt staff showed us a video of this guy beating up a dog. It was so horrible! That guy is a bully. Would he dare abuse a rottweiler? No, because he would get mauled. He was targeting a tiny defenceless poodle/maltese. Taking his anger out on it and he got his gf or someone to film all that down. Awful! You should watch it. How he practically threw the dog against the wall, forced it to stand, hit its face, pulled its legs...
I really despise people who abuse animals. They're definitely not normal. Why would we want them in our midst?
One of the staff said if the dog dies, the gf would be the next to be abused.
She deserves it. To watch an animal being abused and do nothing is one thing. To film it because it's fun is totally abhorrent!
You could see how fearful the dog was. It was forcing itself to stand. Most dogs would refuse to do that because it's NOT normal. This dog knew if it gave in to its natural tendencies, it would probably get punched or thrown again. That's just so sad! I hope someone finds it and takes it away to a better home or even a shelter. Just away from those horrible owners. After I watched it, I just felt like crying. Animals weren't born to be kept as pets. I'm sure God didn't meant for that to happen. It just so happens that humans are taking over everything that God created and not treasuring them enough.
Pet owners should give their pets a good home. Pets aren't toys; they have life. They should be taken care of like they're your children (if you abuse your own children, I have nothing to say) How can their lives be worth so much less?! And I heard how this woman wearing stilettoes stepped on a cat's head till it burst, how it could burst is beyond my understanding but the point is, HOW CRUEL IS THAT? How could anyone do that? Why would anyone do that ? Why would anyone enjoy seeing that?
You will suffer retribution.

P.S I shall find out how I can donate to WWF and SPCA. Animal rights groups are always under-prioritized :(
